Dr. Jeff Haddox is a digital commerce executive, technology leader, and author with a career built on turning analog businesses into digital powerhouses. He’s best known for leading the e-commerce transformation at Pier 1 Imports — growing a brand-new digital P&L from zero to $500 million in annual revenue and creating a playbook for retail evolution that others have followed ever since.
Today, Jeff serves as Chief Technology Officer at Omni Retail Enterprises, where he oversees a $40M portfolio of direct-to-consumer brands, driving 25% consolidated growth while building the engineering, analytics, and customer experience infrastructure that scales with it. His career spans retail, higher education, and children’s apparel; but the through line has always been the same: use data to understand people, then build technology that serves them better.
Jeff is the author of Channeling Frustration in the Workplace, a practical guide to channeling workplace frustration productively. Built from two decades of managing cross-functional teams, vendor relationships, and the philosophical differences that come with high-stakes organizational change. It’s the book the industry needed someone honest enough to write.
Outside the office, Jeff shares what he’s learned as an Adjunct Professor at the University of North Texas and Southern New Hampshire University, and through speaking engagements focused on culture, leadership, and the human side of digital transformation. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration in Leadership from Walden University, an MBA in Information Systems from Tarleton State University, and a BBA in Economics from UNT. He lives in Fort Worth, Texas.
