After obtaining his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of North Texas, he went into the retail banking vertical focused specifically on customer data analysis. While working at OmniAmerican Bank, Jeff obtained his Private Pilot Certificate. After spending three years in the retail banking industry, Jeff took on a new role at Pier 1 Imports working as a Marketing Analyst. During his time at Pier 1 Imports, Jeff went on to obtain his MBA with a focus on Information Systems from Tarleton State University and a Doctor of Business Administration in Leadership from Walden University.
During his time at Pier 1 Imports, Jeff has lead several different leadership roles across Marketing, Business Development, Ecommerce, and Customer Experience. The last few year at Pier 1 Imports, Jeff focused on building and growing the Ecommerce business for the brand, building a profitable P&L that generated $500 million in annual revenues. In his final role at Pier 1 Imports, Jeff served in an omnichannel, cross-functional capacity, ensuring a seamless experience for the customer across all touch points.
After leaving Pier 1 Imports, Jeff took a role as the Senior Vice President of Digital Experience & Analytics at Academic Partnerships. In this role, Jeff led the Digital Analytics team, focusing on building and utilize unified customer view to understand and influence the customer journey from initial point of consideration through the enrollment and graduation process. Jeff was also responsible for Agile Marketing Operations, providing thought leadership on improving efficiencies and process for full organization. After leaving Academic Partnerships in 2022, Jeff took on the role of Chief Digital Officer at RuffleButts. In his role as CDO, he oversees the full Ecommerce business including Creative, Marketing, Ecommerce, Development, and Analytics.
Jeff is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Omni Retail Enterprises. In his role as CTO, he oversees the digital selling channels, all technology aspects, and data analytics.
